We’re very happy to announce that AssetWorks LLC has joined AUDE today as a new business partner member. The process to become a business partner of the association is straightforward but thorough. The AUDE Executive takes a close look at applications and ensures that companies wanting to become partners have something of genuine and differentiated value to add to our membership. AssetWorks is one of just five organisations this year to have met the scrutiny.
Currently better known within US higher education than they are here in the UK, AUDE believes the AssetWorks specialist estates and facilities management software offer is potentially very interesting to our membership, and that they have a valuable international perspective to bring to discussions. AssetWorks has helped universities improve the way that their estate, facilities, and services enhance the student, staff, and visitor experience - while reducing their carbon footprint – for 30 years. Today, hundreds of educational institutions, including The University of Leicester, benefit from AssetWorks software products.
Of particular importance to AUDE when welcoming AssetWorks as a business partner was their decades-long track record closely collaborating with APPA in North America to share best practices. In the times we are living in, it is even more critical to come together in the higher education community. To do its part, AssetWorks has created a COVID-19 resource centre where they are assembling AssetWorks, APPA and other resources for the community to access. Immediately prior to membership AssetWorks ran a member webinar for us: ‘Capital Planning for a Post Covid-19 World’. That went down very well, and we’re currently arranging a second related webinar – we’ll share information on that shortly.
Jane White, AUDE Executive Director, said: “We are very interested to see how member universities build on the AssetWorks expertise and we will be keen to share a forthcoming case study on the experience at Leicester, which we know will have specific resonance for our UK estates directors and teams. But of course the international breadth of the impact AssetWorks has had adds enormous additional value to the conversations our membership will open up with them.”
Paul Sharp the UK Account Director for AssetWorks said: “Everybody at Assetworks is delighted to have been accepted by AUDE as a business partner. In North America and Australia, we enjoy close relationships with APPA and TEFMA; we will work hard to create the same enduring relationship here.”
“Our integrated workplace management system features an extensive range of facilities management tools under a single, unified software platform establishing a single source of truth for our customers,” said Steven Denning-Garrison, AssetWorks VP of International Operations. “We’re especially excited about how our user friendly, integrated campus engagement products put the facilities organisation at the forefront of university efforts to provide a world-class student experience. We’re looking forward to doing just that with more AUDE members!”
