Facilities teams are an essential part of every large organization and critical to business continuity through uncertain times such as with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Facilities needs to be there to support the other mission-critical elements of a campus or community such as building systems and utilities, health services, public safety, emergency management, public services, ongoing research, distance learning and more. As such, facilities organizations are dealing with an unprecedented set of new challenges and shifting priorities on an almost daily basis.

Technology can and will play a role in addressing some of these challenges, but not everyone has time to figure out how in the midst of a crisis. This is where we come in... AssetWorks plans to help by facilitating communication within our family of customers, identifying solutions to the challenges you face, and sharing how best to use the software you have to solve problems. To this end, we're working on a series of online activities aimed at gathering and sharing information via surveys and roundtable discussions, conducting webinars to share best practices, and showcasing customers that have employed innovative solutions.

As a first step, we've compiled a very short survey (3 questions) that will help us identify common challenges and therefore the "low hanging fruit" for areas we can help. We suspect these will include things such as: performing auditable cleaning, inspections and remediation, tracking extraordinary costs, prioritizing work, scheduling with physical distancing in mind, and reporting ...and would appreciate your participation in this quick survey to validate our assumptions.
